Shipping & Delivery Policy

Sassy Creations delivers handcrafted furniture, décor and other products to customers within South Africa.

1. Processing Times

Because many of our products are handmade, processing times may vary depending on the product, availability of materials and whether the item is made to order. The estimated processing or production period will be communicated on the relevant product page or to the customer after an order is received. Custom-made products may require additional production time.

2. Delivery

Once your order is ready for dispatch, it will be handed to the selected delivery or courier service. Delivery times depend on:

  • the customer’s location;
  • the size and weight of the product;
  • the courier or delivery service used; and
  • circumstances outside our control.

Large furniture and oversized products may require specialised delivery arrangements.

3. Delivery Address

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and contact information. Sassy Creations cannot be held responsible for delivery delays or additional costs caused by an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by the customer.

4. Delivery Delays

We will make reasonable efforts to ensure that orders are dispatched within the communicated timeframe. However, courier delays, weather, public holidays, peak-season demand, remote-area delivery requirements and other circumstances outside our control may affect delivery times. Where we become aware of a significant delay, we will communicate this to the customer.

5. Inspection on Delivery

Customers should inspect their order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery. If an item arrives visibly damaged, please contact Sassy Creations as soon as possible and provide photographs of:

  • the product;
  • the packaging;
  • the damaged area; and
  • the shipping label, where applicable.

This will allow us to investigate the matter with the delivery provider and determine the appropriate resolution.

6. Collection

Where collection is offered, the customer will be informed when the order is ready for collection and will be responsible for collecting it within the agreed timeframe.

7. Delivery Costs

Delivery fees will be displayed or communicated before the order is finalised, where applicable. Delivery costs may vary depending on the size, weight, destination and delivery method selected.
